Scrollingua is a language-learning app operated by Pixel Mango LLC ("we", "us"). This policy explains what we collect and why. Questions? Email [email protected].

What we collect

• Account: email, username, password, and an optional referral code.
• Learning activity: lessons completed, streaks, saved words, videos watched, and settings.
• Voice: audio you record for pronunciation practice, and the resulting score.
• Purchases: subscription status and transaction IDs (we never receive your card details).
• Device info: device type, OS, app version, and crash logs.

How we use it To run your account, save your progress across devices, score pronunciation, process subscriptions and referral rewards, fix bugs, and respond to support. We do not sell your data or run third-party ads.

Voice data When you use pronunciation practice, your audio is sent to Microsoft Azure to generate a score. It is not used to identify you or build a voiceprint. Microphone access is only requested when you start an exercise.

Who we share it with Service providers that help us operate the app: Supabase (accounts & database), Apple App Store (payments), RevenueCat (subscriptions), Microsoft Azure (pronunciation & translation), and Bunny.net (video streaming). We may also disclose data if required by law.

Your rights You can access, correct, export, or delete your data, and withdraw microphone consent in your device settings. Email [email protected] to make a request. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under GDPR or CCPA.

Deleting your account You can delete your account and its data anytime in the app, or by emailing us. Deleting the app alone does not delete your account.

Retention & security We keep your data while your account is active and delete or anonymize it after closure, except where law requires us to keep records. We use encryption in transit and reputable infrastructure, but no system is perfectly secure.

Children Scrollingua is not intended for children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect their data.

Changes We may update this policy; we'll update the effective date above when we do. Continued use means you accept the changes.
